Holy Cow. It's all over. (the wedding, not the marriage!)

Yo!

So the cakes been eatin, the words been said, the honeymoon been taken, and the gifts unwrapped. The pictures are being developed and the thankyou cards are getting ready to go out.

Bobbi and Mike (www.bobbiandmike.com), our photographers, were kind enough to put a little slideshow together for us of our photos! This is a mere fraction of the total amount of photos and we can't wait to see the rest!

The Blog: http://www.bobbiandmike.com/blog/?p=1256 (at the bottom is a place to leave comments for bobbi and mike)
The Slideshow: http://www.bobbiandmike.com/slideshows/bock/ (username: hargis, password: bock) Send it to everyone!!!

They did a fabulous job!!!! WOW!!! What a wonderful couple to work with. In case you didn't know they got there at around 9am and stayed there till we left. They gave us their entire day, and on top of that got us this slideshow ASAP. We can't thank them enough for all of their hard work.

Michael and Peyton, and their little girl Aislynn came over this weekend and we got some adorable photos of her. Here are some for your viewing pleasure! Our first baby pictures portfolio!!! :-D Anyone else want their baby photograghed? And I only used my little Canon S1000 for these! I love my lil' point and shoot! Wait till we get a 30D!!! :-D

Hope you enjoyed those. We're going to have a ton of photos of our honeymoon up soon enough, so keep your eyes out for them!!!!! :-D

Chicago!

D. Here-

So I had another interview this weekend with Karnes Prickett design. What an awesome place that was! There designs are amazing. They look at every little detail and even took the time to match the staples to the companies colors on a brochure. I didn't think I'd find a job that felt so right to me as that one. I used to have the mindset that a job is a job and I should take it when given to me, but I truly fell in love with the firm. The building is very cool, with some awesome architecture. I'd be one of three to four designers if I got the job there. I'd be able to do all types of design. Not just web! That's so cool! Cat explored the downtown and man is it nice. It's in Glyn Ellen, this wealthy ADORABLE area outside of chicago. It'd be so much nicer living outside than in the city but still close enough to enjoy it. I really hope I get this job and they think I'm the right fit.

The nine hour st. louis road trip. Woof.

What a trek! It was 4.5 hours there and 4.5 hours back. Despite being rainy, and long, and tiring we had a blast! Fleishman Hillard is an amazing company with a lot of pride in itself and for good reason! I met a couple people that have been with the company for twenty years! Goodness! I hope the company I work for is exciting enough to be with for that long! I think things went well in the interviews and I hope I get the job. I was on the twentieth floor...and then down to the seventeenth.. and then back up and down. That place was huge!!! Get this! The designers get a PC AND a Mac. And they're already upgrading to CS3 (the latest design software package)! I'd be one of two designers. That blows my mind. How cool would that be??? Here's hoping things go well but even if I don't get the job what an awesome oportunity it was to gain experience in interviews! I think my first one went well!

Exhausted but happy and ready for more!
